While a missionary, I used to make up parodies for hymns that would mock other religions. I'll post some of them in a follow-up to this post. After learning the facts about Joseph Smith's marriages, I decided that it was about time that I make one for the church, so I came up with this - it goes to the tune of "Praise to the Man."

Praise to the man who married other men’s wives
And when they got mad, he would ruim their lives.
Blessed to have sex with girls as young as fourteen
Such holy acts others would deem obscene
Praise to the prophet, descended to Hell now,
Traitors and tyrants still follow him in vain.
Riddled with bullets, he paid for his actions,
Death cannot punish the “prophet” again.

And I started this one and I wanted to know if anyone had any good suggestions for the next several lines. Keep it thematically in line with the church being a fraud. It goes to the tune of "The Spirit of God."

The spirit of fraud, like a balance sheet burning...
What next?

For the Jehova's Witnesses (to the tune of Guide Us Thou, O Great Jehova).

Guide us thou, oh great Jehova -
Guide us 'cause we know your name.
And those who do not call you by it
will be killed by destroying flame.
God is mercy. God is Mercy.
If you don't believe, you'll die!
He'll destroy your soul and we won't cry.

For Muslims (to the tune of If You Could Hie to Kolob)
If you could hie to Mecca,
At least one time in your life,
That wouldn't change the fact that
You still mistreat your wife.
You never really hear her
'cause you won't let her speak up loud
You never really see her
'Cause she's covered under a shroud.

For girls in general (to the tune of As Sisters in Zion"
As sisters in high school, we'll all get together
In the bathroom, where we'll all talk about boys.
We like to confuse them and also abuse them,
But that is our job, we will do what annoys.

(My wife never liked that one).

I can't remember any of the other ones that I did in English. So you know, I don't dislike any individuals of those religions. I fully understand what it is like to be convinced of a religion that has illogical or cruel doctrines. I'm all for mocking all beliefs equally. If anyone wants to throw out something mocking any other religion, atheists, or agnostics, go for it. Some of the nicest people I've known have been J-Dubs, Catholics, Muslims, Evangelicals, Mormons, etc. Some of the most viciously unkind people I've known have been from those religions. I'm not mocking iniduals or the fact that people believe outlandish things. I'm just creating a forum for poking fun at religious beliefs.
