I am more of a blues/jazz/rock/classical/opera girl myself but for some reason I do like this song. Hubby likes country and every now and then a song will come on in the car that I like. I found this one on a long trip to the dentist and had to come right home and figure out all the words. My mother went through a country phase when I was a kid and I did like this one. Still don't have it figured out but I don't think you are supposed to.

1. Ode to Billy Joe is country? I'm learning more about myself, and I think I can't say, "I like everything except country." It's simply not true. I like Delta Blues and serious finger picking blues guitar. I still think I'll be playing it one day after I master Back in Black...
