Maybe I should get some business cards with my name, then the word APOSTATE in big bold letters. I could pass them out to religious people who came to my door.

I'm getting used to that term for myself. I was the picture perfect molly for 28 years and now I can call myself an apostate atheist. It just kinda rolls off the tongue...

I like it a lot more now then when I first left TSCC. Now I'm happy to call myself an APOSTATE or ex-Mormon.

That's not a bad idea. Maybe next time someone from TSCC shows up I will just open the door and only say "I'm an Apostate" with a smile. Then just wait for their response. That should be entertaining.

I'm proud to be an apostate. Also an infidel, heretic and blasphemer. I wear these labels proudly. My heros are Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson, Edison, Einstein and Robert G. Ingersoll, all infidels.

and even with all that, you still can not come close to utter profanity of some swinish LDS business exec taking upon himself the sacred title of *apostle*

Try living as an apostate family in Idaho's Fremont and Madison
counties for four generations. According to my great grandfather
my grandfather and my father, it was hell.

In 1958 the Gentiles began moving in. After that it got better.
