I wouldn't say I've been "missing" church...

Yesterday during F&T meeting one of the old fogies told a story about how he missed church on purpose once when he was young. He felt so horrible that he made a promise to himself, God, and his father that he would never miss church again.

My 11 year old leans in to me and whispers, "I promise you I would never 'miss' church again." She looks me in the eye and gives me a little wink, I knew what she meant. She hates church and I think there will come a day when she won't miss going. Hopefully sooner than later.
