My oldest daughter quit going to TSCC shortly after her temple wedding. The temple rituals freaked her out. Her husband wants to believe the church is true but the boring meetings are just too boring.

As their children have turned 8 years old, my SIL's family wants to know when the baptismal dates are. So has each child turns 8 years old, the child and dad dress in all white, stand in front of a LDS building and mom takes a picture to send to all the TBM family members. Everyone is so happy. Not one of her children have the noose of TSCC forever chasing them. Yea.

That was then and now since the missionaries get to pester those whose parents actually baptized their kids (me) the missionaries are hounding my SIL to actually baptize his kids. Such a golden opportunity to increase the missionaries stats and give TSCC another generation to fleece.

The grandkids have never been to church and have no desire to attend. The fake baptisms was good enough. Plus Grandpa hates the Morons.

How sad that they felt this was necessary to remain on good terms with family and avoid their badgering.

That's one of the ways we know it is a cult.

Show the missionaries the pictures and tell the their information is obviously wrong, you grandchildren were obviously baptized.
