Anyone familiar with the Byington name?

A cousin just married a Byington from Utah. Just wondering.

Me, too! Spring Byington was the first person I though of, but I don't see any LDS connection there, unless anyone else knows better than I do?

She married Roy Carey Chandler but divorced him in 1924.

She was from CO, originally, right?

His pictures appear here at familysearch. Was he Mormon, or is someone today just claiming him to be, long after his death?

My BIL remarried after DS death to a UT woman w/surname Byington. Not sure if it was maiden name or what. She's a professional so she still uses Byington not BIL's surname. They live in UT and are both very TBM.
