If anyone is from Queen Creek AZ or near there and want to share your opinions about this area with me, I appreciate it. What do they use for heating? For AC? IS solar energy big there?

I lived in Mesa for 20 and recently transplanted to UT. I have a lot of family that moved to Queen Creek for its inexpensive housing.

They heat and cool their homes with electricity. Pretty expensive. Lots of people are going solar as well but you'd have to check what the utility rebates are, I think they're getting pretty low, but you still have the federal 30% tax credit.

The one thing I hate about QC, is if you have to get Mesa, Gilbert etc., it's at least a half hour drive.

Hope this helps.

Queen creek has some nice open areas and growing housing developments also. It is in the South East part of metro Phoenix area; near Gilbert Mesa Chandler.

I would check out about earth fissures before buying property in the area.

Earth fissures from pumping water for irrigation for farmland has been in the news over the years in the area.

Phoenix here. I'm sure almost everyone in this area uses AC for cooling. The summer humidity here is too much for evap cooling. You'll probably not use hat much. On a cold year you may turn it on five days out of the year.
