LDS Org Polyg article: I hate to say it, but most mormons

do not know of or do not care what the new lds.org article about the origins of LDS Polygamy says.

Their "faith" will not be shaken.

In fact, most will not bother to read it or take the time to find out it exists.

When you raise the issue - as I have done already, the will tell you that you are reading anti mormon material.

When you tell them it is on the lds church's own site, they will tell you that the prophets aren't perfect but the Gospel is.

There is no way to win with a TBM. They have a practiced answer for everything. Their gray-matter has been washed, bleached and hung out to dry.

the LDS 'always' leave themselves an Out; "Speaking as a Man" is their favorite, I believe...

Agree. TBM's won't care even if they never knew Smith was a polygamist.

Too negative. True for many but others like me wondered, read, and lost belief. They are losing lots of people. Admittedly it won't matter to many.
