Question. Retiring soon; does Friday night still feel like Friday night after retiring? If not, I may have to rethink retiring.

Are you kidding? Sometimes I have to stop and think about what day of the week it is. Retirement is great!

This evening Timothy I'll be taste testing a new whisky which is a blend of whiskies from all over Britain called The One. I'll do a report later.

This afternoon I tasted eight beers as a beer festival, 1/3 of a pint each. Free beer, which is always good. ;o))

One was a Mild ale, which was dark and sweet in flavour.

The One British Blended Whisky.

It is very smooth, curious, it contains a harmonious blend of several strands of flavour.

Scent of vanilla, warming first sip, sweet note to it, a gentle reminder of fruits and a twist of spice. It's beautiful!

Since I need to I discovered a whole new world of alcohol free cocktails, who are pretty fancy and tasty... today we went out for date night and I had a GINGER BASIL GRAPEFRUIT Drink that was way awesome.

I shared a bottle of Rekorderlig strawberry and lime cider with my oldest DD (she's of legal drinking age)! I highly recommend the cider, so good. :-)

Just made myself a lemon drop martini. good god almighty.

I'll sip on that under my heated blanket whilst I start a new book.

Drinking a Molson Canadian watching the Red Wings probably beat my team the Toronto Maple Leafs at my local sports bar.

Pink Moscato. Yes, it's a 'girlie wine', but, it' really good!
