He visited my mission. In the Mission Home, I had a chance for a one-on-one, off to the side. My humor is dry. I always liked Marv's humor in his talks. During our conversation I cracked wise. Nothing at all offensive. His look was of great disgust, like I had just farted in his face.

So much for the private vs public Marv!

I think Dieter Uchtdorf is the current charismatic pretty boy. At least a lot of older LDS women seem to swoon over him.

I think John Bytheway has had a big influence on mormon kids in the past. He's not really a leader, but he was much adored at one time. I don't know what his status is now.

There are a lot of mormons drooling over Romney even though he isn't currently in big leader status.
