Those who refuse to keep the commandments will be slain by an angel with a sword.

(Why was a special situation set up just for Joseph Smith? Nobody ever seems to get killed by angels with swords, and there are some pretty wicked people on Earth. Why aren't the angels with their swords doing their duty?)

Sure. He does it all the time. Doesn't seem to matter whether their title is prophet, priest, minister, bishop or preacher.
