If you do and you want to use it for awesome, all you have to do is get your new name, then turn right back around to the locker room, change and leave. I recently confirmed that there was a change to the temple name rotation list and there are a lot of gaps to fill.

Yes, and I have to wonder why they only changed half the names? Was it to try to throw me off? Or is that just my over-inflated sense of self-importance?

who knows? it could be that it's been 20+ years so they felt it was needed?

I'd like one but they're too expensive.

Ha! Not me! I've been to the temple many times, but the last time I attended, we were still pretending to disembowel ourselves and did a bit of throat cutting too.

Not renewing has saved me tens of thousands ($), though. : )

I am holding one for free :) I didn't pay a cent of tithing for it and it is still valid for 1.5 yrs.
It was the time I did my MA work -I hadn't any income and lived by my saving account. So when I was asked if I pay the full tithing I said yes, declared that it is actually zero and Bish signed it and 2 days later did SP. I haven't paid a cent for years.
But last times I went with friends or family reasons the names were the same. However I'll keep my ears open

Nice! It seems that only half of the names on the list changed, so if you get a chance to go again, try to go on one of the days where it looks like the name changed.

So far, whenever there have been at least two confirmations of a name change, there have been no submissions saying it didn't.

Interesting. If I lived closer to a temple I'd drop by.

My recommend expires in February next year and I won't be renewing it. (If anyone needs to borrow it to attend an important wedding or something, give me a holler.)
