New splinter group ?

Has anyone heard of a man (in Utah) who claims to have seen Jesus? I am hearing of families leaving the main sect to follow this guy. Apparently this group believes in the B of M but not in TSM. The men are getting their priesthood re-ordained from this guy. I am in the Boise, ID area.
