Nothing but snow all day here in my part of Idaho,. Too early to dream of a white Christmas but a couple of ads from Britain brightened things. For something special just Google John Lewis Christmas Ad and the Sainsbury Christmas Ad

Glad to hear it!

Not knowing exactly where your "part" of Idaho is...i must admit i have some fond memories of snow up at Ricks.

We had some monster snowball fights against other apartment buildings on either side of us.

Pretty much my only fond memories of anything connected to Mormonism!

Hey send some our way if you can over to California...we are still dry as a bone out here!

Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Or so it seems to me...

But it's a wonderful city and it is perfect weather for drinking hot, locally roasted coffee.

No doubt winter has arrived in Montana. Six degrees and snowing. You'll never see a dog pee so fast.

We could use some of that global warming right now.

Dang! It's 58 degrees here in Boulder City, Nevada. DH is going to have to put his shoes on to take the trash out. I'm sitting here, drinking nice hot coffee but I still need a jacket. Hmmmm, guess it's time to turn the heater on. Sorry guys, I spent a lifetime in SLC and Ricks College and I do know what real cold is. I also spent 3 weeks in Scotland in April and didn't even bring me woollies! Yes, I froze. But I do love winter in southern Nevada.

We got snow here in west central Alberta last weekend. The week before that I was still wearing flip flops to go out. Won't be doing that for awhile now I guess!

Nature called this old man this morning at 3:30. When I checked the temperature it was 25 F according to Accuweather. Got back under the down comforter in record time. That's pretty cold for us in this part of Texas any time of the year.

I am in the Boise area and it's snowing again today. Check those Google sites for some brilliant Christmas advertising.

I used to like it when it snowed in Raymond. It meant the stinking fuckin' horse shit got covered up. That is until some dumb son of a bitchin' 'one horse open sleigh' asshole came plodding along and left a 50 foot trail of horse shit up and down the street.

Bright, sunny, and freezing in Seattle. I'm going to go buy some wine to warm myself up.

Kentish, you'll know that the Sainsbury's advert about the Christmas Day when British and German soldiers held their own truce and played a game of football and exchanged gifts is a true story.

It made me cry.

Incidentally, my grandfather, who I loved dearly, was shattered by his experiences in the Trenches of WW1, his two brothers, my great uncles, never came back and have no graves, being "lost in action."

No snow yet here in central Kentucky, but they say it's coming Sunday. Meanwhile, it's COLD! 17 degrees last night. At least that's cold for here, in a so-called "subtropical" climate.

It has been in the 50's here in Newport, NC and very much colder going inland. My step-sister out in the NC mountains has already gotten snow. I have been crocheting a new hat and infinity scarf set for myself to wear once I break out my winter jacket tomorrow morning.
