And it sucks because the third (and wife's favorite) member is tscc.

Not sure if that's innuendo or not.

Apparently some people need some bondage in their lives. :) I think there are better sources for it than the TSCC though, although they are more than happy to deliver.

That no-good Henry just abandoned poor Zina?

Seriously, I can't believe the church put it that way. Henry is a tragic character in church history, and then they have the nerve to say he deserted Zina. I guess that's what you get for following the prophet.

Yup, that bio could've have been written by a Korean apologist; no extra points for guessing North or South.

I've used the analogy of a threesome, which includes the church.

However, lately I'm wondering if it is more like the church is daddy, and you and wife are the kids.

And if you aren't doing what she wants, she will run to daddy and get him to straighten you out. As happens with men who look at porn and have to get punished by the church and shamed.

Daddy's tend to go easier on their daughters than sons, so it works out well for them.

You wouldn't be the first man to lose his wife to Joseph.

None of us were 'Mos. He tried to explain to me, "You and I both work full time. We NEED a wife to stay home, keep house, and cook."

I didn't buy it, and moved out. (I didn't buy into the Sister-wife" concept before I even heard of it!

Deseret News featured voices "The Eyres" suggest you consider a 3-way...

"If a two-way partnership is a better state, a better chemistry, a more perfectible entity than an individual (if, as Ben Franklin said, “a single man is like half a pair of scissors”), how do a husband and wife maximize that partnership? How does a couple deliberately and purposefully get closer and closer to each other?

Could a three-way partnership be even better if the third partner is God or the Spirit? If a three-way partnership were shaped like a triangle, with God at the top corner and the husband and wife at the bottom corners, and if the goal of each spouse was to draw closer to God, would their movement in that direction also draw them ever closer to each other?"

TSCC encourages spiritual adultery by encouraging the complete and total adoration of J.S. and all the GA creeps that followed him. They are made out to be the very model of the (almost) perfect man. When she stacks you up against that image, you will always be just her unworthy, bumbling, fumbling husband who, by the way, is currently under the influence of Satan if not altogether his minion.

IMHO. This is why mixed faith Mormon marriages will always be dysfunctional is one way or another.

If in non mixed faith marriages, Mormon women tend to cleave to the Church and GA's more than to their husbands.

I believe you, of course, but to me this is totally unfathomable! NO ONE could ever be more important, more loved, or more treasured than my husband. And I am pretty confident that he feels the same way about me. We are a total team. No one could come between us.

Except maybe the dog.

Kidding! I am kidding!
