I had just been through a divorce from a jerk who was always demanding, "Bring me this! Bring me that! Bring me some coffee!" What would it be like, being the assistant administrator of a planet? Would it be the same? Not interested.
At the time, I had my hands full with a small apartment and four cats.
Heck, I didn't even want to be a supervisor in my own office. Too many headaches. Who would really WANT their own planet??
This site is it, catnip. Man, was I an outsider and oddball everywhere I went in life before. In Mormonism, in the military, in the workplace, and even in state college. I never fit in.
