This July, 1993 Document is from the ongoing stash of church documents that have been released. It is a job description for a manager of Confidential Records (which I believe is now Member Records.) The budget for the department included 2 exempt (managerial) positions which together, paid $570,000 for an average of $285,000 in salary and benefits per manager at that time. I can only imagine what the position pays now.

But the managers evidently earn their money. The document notes that CR managers must sometimes, "refuse General Authorities when they request information that they are not authorized to have." The applicant must have "extensive priesthood leadership which develops judgment and decision making." Also needed is a "high level of spiritual maturity to handle details of spiritual transgressions."
