....tithing settlement is an intrusion, and ultimately an arrogant, hypocritcal power play by LDS, inc.

Refusing (since April of 1959) to disclose their revenues and expenditures, they ask the members to account and declare a full tithe to "the church"....other giving does not count!

So often one is put in the position of having to boast or confess or outright lie. What a joke....

Has anyone ever put their tithing into a trust with conditions,,, the church has conditions on getting money... could be a way of making them divulge finances

Forget a trust -- just refuse to pay it until the church provides full financial transparency. If enough mormons did that, it'd happen.

I stopped paying the tithe several months before I went totally inactive. Nobody said anything to me, probably because the handwriting was on the wall: I'd stopped attending all but the SM--refused callings, refused the group temple trips, etc.

Not paying tithe is one of the easiest things I've ever done. I figured it out right away. It's right up there with masturbating and eating chocolate. Hard to screw it up.

They require the members (of the club) to bare all. TSCC can't stand to see itself in the mirror, and therefore bares nothing! It is ashamed and embarrassed... just like it likes to make members feel. It's ugly. Afraid of itself. An assole. A dink. A puxxy. A coward. A fallen saint. A thief and a liar

Any interview with church authorities forces you to lie. If you're smart. But, if you were really smart, you would've left the church. Thinking that the church does anything that doesn't remind its minions that they're lowly and bordering on unworthy is wrongful thinking.
