In GB's parlance, yes.
Remember he's a convert.
I daresen't dwell on the joy and rapture that the thought of Beck abandoning ship conjures up.
Let's hope that Beck gets out of the church and then goes a wild diatribe that gets national attention. I'd bet a bunch of TBMs drop him like a hot potato, but many will be scratching their heads and perhaps may start thinking.
If glen beck leaves tscc it might actually be interesting enough to tune into his show. Otherwise I just can't stand listening to his ranting and nonsense.
This is like one of those cold war movies where both the Americans and Russians are trying to be the first to find the NAZI scientist to get them on their side. Dehlin vs. Peterson
Nevermind. Saw on Dehlin's FB. Fascinating. I'd love to see someone have a mind-blowing Mormon faith meltdown live on television. Beck is too emotional to not unload it all on us, isn't he?
i'm going to start popping corn. A few years ago a TBM invited me to a glen beck concert. I said no. She literally has foxnews on all the time. If Glen Beck leaves, tbms are going to get mindf8cked. I'm not fond of Glen Beck. But if the man comes to his senses and admit he was in a cult. I'll give him credit. I was never a tbm, I was BIC and hated being a Mormon.
Becoming an exmo was no big deal to me. I didn't have a lot of confusion when it happened. I know a lot of rfmers were uber tbms. so when their shelf collapsed it was different for them.
This is a lesson for me. just because someone is a TBM doesn't mean they are an asshole all the time. Were all humans and learn at different paces.
It would be AWESOME if he did one of his chalkboard analysis of all the stuff he has trouble with. I'm wonder what Pat Gray, the guy who introduced him to the church is thinking as well.
Tom Cruise went from Scientology's greatest asset to their largest liability. If Mr Beck has discovered he was hoodwinked, this will be interesting. There must be 30 links to the CES letter in the comments so far.
I am loving all the links to the CES letter and under each one is a link to FAIR and then people come back with the debunking FAIR link. Heck even if Glenn doesn't get out maybe some of his listeners will. It's a win-win all around.
Glen Beck is priming people for what he'll say next. This is simple, vague advertising that is supposed to get everyone excited to tune into what he'll say next.
He doesn't say anything about what exactly he read. He is very vague. Maybe his show had its funding cut? Didn't he get his big start because of Mormon broadcasting connections? Perhaps the church is cutting funding to some of its for profit businesses? Maybe Beck fell for an LDS affinity scam? Still good to see he is questioning himself, his beliefs, and his religious and political leaders. Hopefully this isn't all showmanship and smoke. Hopefully he will say more in the near future.
Woooooo Hoooooo! Let the games begin. Now follow me on this one ...
If Mr. Beck is questioning, then he is googling. And no doubt he will land here at RfM at some point. Attention whore that he is, Beck will not be able to stop himself from posting. (He's too arrogant to live as a lurker, especially if we are all talking about him).
So how long will it take before Glenn Beck becomes a regular RfMer?
