After Joseph Smith was killed Brigham and the boys wrote a bit time letter to the world and SIGNED it. They were not afraid to put their name to the declarations of what they believed for all the world to see.

Why are you such a chickenshit bunch Tommie, Boyd, Dallin & Co? Anonymous essays?

What are you afraid of, not deniability if you sign them? If so, why are you jackasses publishing them?

Such a wimpy bunch of spiritual leaders. I've never seen such wimps for God in all my 62 years of existence.

I often wonder if they look in the mirror while shaving. They have no cuts, so i'm guessing they must. I don't know how they can stand the sight that the rest of us have a difficult time tolerating.

David Reese-former editor of MormonThink reported at Ex-mo convention 10-14 that the church I.T. person left the church.

He claimed the I.T. person was instructed to bury the essays in the website-without linking them to obvious key words he would normally utilize as a professional in his field of expertise.

Not all cowards are Mormon leaders, but all Mormon leaders are cowards. They are weasely frauds who fear exposure. They use religious memes that were developed by others at great personal sacrifice. Mormon leaders sacrifice nothing and live deliciously. Rank and file members must put their doubts on the shelf, but the leaders get to live there. Tommy, if he can still fog a mirror, will never man up. He's a silky boy with a big lollipop, and he prefers the company of women whose husbands are too dead to kick his ass.

If I've learned anything valuable in life from the Mormon church, it is this. There are people and institutions in this world that will never ever admit they're wrong until they're absolutely forced to, and not a minute sooner. Their modes operendi is to tell lies, stick to those lies, and no matter how trapped you may become in your lie, never break, never give anything. If you stick to your lies long enough and hard enough, you will prevail, even if you get fully exposed in your lie. JS did it BY did it, all of the other Prophets do it. So if you're ever trapped by your lies so thoroughly as to leave little doubt in anyone's mind that your lie is clearly a deception warranting acknowledgement and apology, have someone that can't be officially tied to you give the acknowledgment. But still don't apologize. Never admit fault. This is narcissism at its height of fulfillment by men that believe they've literally ordained as gods. They encourage what they are, in the actions of all of their followers. People don't do what you tell them to do. They emulate what they see. So to sum things up, the mormon church is cultivating millions of sociopaths. Tommy's never going to admit anything.

As a young senior, still working full time in a demanding job, I realize that I am getting older and that at some time not too far in the future I will step back from my job as other and younger people step in. They will have new ways of doing things and new ways of seeing the world and that is a good thing. That is how society progresses.

When the cult is a run by eighty and ninety year olds and a few seventy and sixty year olds, you are going to get stagnation in thinking and a near obsessive death grip on the reins of power and an inability to adjust to change.

I think that is why the cult seems so ham fisted to the outside world and so desperate about controlling every waking moment of the members' lives and every thought that enters their head.

I honestly believe a significant portion of church members would go inactive tomorrow if they were not concerned about the social and familial consequences they would face. I think that is why so many TBMs refuse to look at non LDS information; if they learned the real story they would not be able to stay mormon and they cannot face the difficulties they would face getting themselves and their families out of the cult.

Member's feet will be held to the fire on the commitments that they have been coerced into making to LDS INC for the sake of maintaining contact with their MORmON family members through out eternity.

MORmON leaders are not committed to stand for anything except appearing proper and pious, endlessly chastising / shaming the members to do better, and collecting offering (EXTORTION)revenue from the members in the name of (CRUEL @$$HOLE MORmON) Jesus.

LDS Inc. advocacy of honesty and forthrightness is something that actually applies only to MORmON members as they report to MORmON leaders, and that everyone else outside of THE church is supposed to adhere to. Otherwise MORmONS and especially MORmON leaders will continue to be as two faced, double talking, evasive, obfuscating, opportunistic LIARS as possible.

I don't want Tommy to sign the essays.

Signing the essays would suggest at least a shred of honesty and integrity - neither of which TSM is guilty of possessing.

Not only are the essays unsigned, but we've heard the story of the Church IT dude being instructed to intentionally make the essays very difficult to find via the website search engine. I had trouble finding them and had to resort to an offsite link to get there.

We should thank Church leadership for being steadfast and committed to their agenda of deception and misinformation. It makes it easier for questioning mos to open their eyes and see clearly that Church leadership has a LOT to hide and doesn't intend to stop anytime soon.

Tommie might be out of it. Which gave me an earworm:

100% Fully Agree. In point of fact, that is one of the most appealing things about religion in the first place: the strength of their convictions. Obviously, the MOrmONS are Weak sauce.

The trouble I see is that the "bretheren" probably didn't write the articles. I'm sure the CES boys did the job. And CES can change their mind and membership won't make a fuss. If you've not noticed the 15 have stepped back a lot from public view within the last few years. There was a time when 1st presidency was always in the paper, travelling around, visiting other countries, giving byu devotionals that were broadcast on tv nearly everyday. That's all changed. Church employees are taking on more responsibility lately.

Earlier we saw some detail on how the essays were crafted, edited and finally vetted.

My guess is that the historians generated the first draft to lay down the facts, followed by a meticulous scrub-a-thon with controlling opinions from legal counsel and PR counsel.

The objective was to admit as absolutely little as possible, and expertly wordsmith the text to sound as innocuous as possible ... all without technically lying.

Then publish the final product where the public can find it, but where most TBMs will never look. Cripple the lds.org search engine to hide the essays under a rock.

Oh ... and don't have ANYONE sign the essays ... filled with half-truth (or 10% truth) and whitewash deflections to prevent the reader from being smacked in the face with 'the rest of the story'.

BTW, the essays are all perfect and should not be changed. They are a true manifestation of the actual core values of the Leadership of LDS, Inc. Lying, deceiving, self-serving con men who exploit their innocent and gullible prey to fulfill their own whims and desires. They lose no sleep knowing that people are commiting suicide because of their selfishness.

And the Church is Twoo.

I wonder if TSM even bothered to read them?

Many BPs and SPs seem totally out of the loop on the essays,

almost like the PR Dept. put them up on the website to deal with

the "world" and didn't tell everybody else...
