My close friend, the missionary who baptized me, known on here as Templenamegabriel called me and told me he resigned. This man is one of the most patient, loving, accepting person I know. He studied his way out in 3 weeks. He was one of the most devout practicing Mormons I know.

Isn't life amazing? You just never know what's around the corner.

I only mean this facetiously: did he offer to unbaptize you?

Don't be silly!!

They get into a fount, or Jacuzzi, and by themselves, lay back into the water, making sure they are entirely submerged, and then you, dressed all in black, jump in, grab them and pull them out of the water and you both get out of the water, shake hands, and then proceed to the unconfirmation, which is done by a bartender in good standing.

Dry Cleaners, then find someone with no authorization to un-validate your parking stub.

Celebrate with an irreverently named adult beverage of your choice.

You'll have to get the props, instead of a font. But it seems pretty easy.

I had a similar experience.

About 4 years ago a friend I knew 30 years ago called and said he was getting baptized into the church as he met a Mormon wife and remembered what a great friend I was. Really puffed me up as a Mormon.

A year later I learned what a SCAM the church was and immediately thought of my friend. It took about a week to finally call him.

I asked him how he was doing in the Mormon church. He said the Mormon he married was a druggie and he divorced her and the church quickly.

Told him I was just calling to let him know I only recently found out the church was a SCAM ----- and congratulated him on his decision. He was obviously a lot quicker mentally than me but he wasn't brainwashed from birth!
