True both are bible fan fiction. But the Q'ran has a bit more thought in it and some at least some semi real history.

Both religions also claim to be restorations. Islam claims to be the first religion. The prophets Adam and Moses and Jesus all had the true faith. But the Jews and Christians messed up and lost a lot of true part. Finally Muhammad came and got everything right and written down in the Q'ran so Muslims have the true faith except Sunnis, Sufi, and Shiite are each the only true faith.

As bad as both faith traditions are, Islam is 100 times worse than Mormonism.

Islam extremists behead innocents, incinerate hostages, throw gays from the top of buildings, sell girls into sexual slavery, justify domestic abuse, etc. And they use specific verses from the Koran to justify their actions.

Mormonism is an abusive cult but is not nearly as violent or extreme as Islam. And Mormons don't want to take us back to the 7th century.

And, on the world stage, there are only 15 million Mormons, whereas there may be 1.5 billion Muslims. So, it is really hard to compare the two when it comes to issues that affect the world.
