God never picks the wrong leader...even though those leaders (speaking for God at some point in time..) have said

Black people can't be full mormons.
Several planets and Gods for everyone...as long as all the rules are followed.
You COULD practice polygamy in the past...just not now.

The only reason you are confused is that you are expecting the Mormon Leadership to be consistent and make sense.

Once you come to understand that the only thing that matters is the last thing they said, your days and nights of confusion will come to an end.

The first law and principle of the Mormon gospel is obedience.

You mentioned Blacks and the Priesthood-people who thought the ban was wrong were wrong to question church authority. Even though the ban was lifted, they were still in the wrong for having previously questioned authority.

The teaching of the church is and always has been to follow the prophet. If he is wrong, you'll still be blessed for your faithful obedience to his/god's counsel.

Questioning the dear leader is wrong.

So God purposely chose the leaders that abuse children, steal money, destroy families by recommending divorce and drive people to suicide because they are different?

Upon what merits did God choose the leaders? A resume of charity and good works? Learning about world religions and philosophy? A degree in Divinity? A life-long dedication to helping the needy? Having studied child psychology, marriage counseling, taken even one psychology or sociology class? How about service to the community? How about men of ideas and creativity?

Hey--how about a few classes in public speaking or writing???

No. God chooses business men. Maybe an attorney. Men who have merit ONLY within the confines of the cult. Someone asked on another thread, "Why haven't any of the Mormon leaders won any humanitarian awards, or any major honor, in the real world? Outside of the cult, these men are nothing but self-aggrandizing kooks, and megalomaniacs.

Oh, money is another major qualification. The MorGod loves money!
