Would John Dehlin and Kate Kelly's Supporters Withhold Their Tithing?

Any folks on this board still active in COJCOLDS and still paying tithing? Something that just occurred to me was that a Tithing Boycott in support of John Dehlin and Kate Kelly might be a fun thing. Thoughts?

It would be great if people would boycott by not paying tithing, but the Mormons I know wouldn't chance that.

If the members would realize that they don't need to hand over their money to the brethren we could put a stop to Smith's cult once and for all.

The best boycott of all is that slip of paper telling the church/cult that you are way beyond being entertained by fairy tales.

I agree with this, but many people for their own reasons stay in COJCOLDS even though disbelieving. It might be fun if some of those would mail in tithing slips (no return address, and no name on the tithing slip) with a note supporting John Dehlin & Kate Kelly as the reason for withholding tithing.

I think that might have the effect of having bishops and ward clerks all over the country Googling John Dehlin & Kate Kelly -- Who knows? Some of them might even end up here and become one of us!

I have been boycotting tithing for decades

my tithing money goes to my IRA.
