All the TBMs have apparently found a sand dune in which to bury their heads...

So far John hasn't done anything wrong. He even asked everyone to respect the church and its property. He told to take down signs that dis-respected the Stake President. Everything they're accusing him of involves his use of free speech to express his religious views, nothing more. So watch them excommunicate a guy who has done nothing wrong. They're about to make him a martyr.

I agree wholeheartedly - the members who have payed and payed some more, plus even built the chapels from the ground up with their sweat and time, ALL are owners of the Morg. Inc.

Wasn't it the MORG just recently talking about religious tolerance and respect for beliefs? That's about to bite them in the ass.

There stance in regards to gay marriage is now: You can believe what ever you want. However, if you disagree with the TSCH's view, shut up about it and pay your tithing.

You know, truth be told, it IS "their church, their gospel" (copyright Intellectual Reserve, Inc.), and they can define their own membership requirements. So, if John D., gets ex'd, the Morg is acting within its rights. That said, I believe (and very much hope) it blows up in their faces, because they look very petty and controlling (which they are).

Having the right does not make it right.

That would require the assumption that your hoping it blows up in their faces is "right". I, like many people want things that are wrong from time to time. I can also want what is right for the wrong reason.
