I need the name of an old science fiction movie. I would like to have my grandchildren watch it. I think it was in the 60's. It was about a space ship that went to Mars (?) and as the men would die their dead bodies would come back to life. Finally one man was left and he took off back to earth. When he was almost to earth, he realized the aliens (millions) were invisible and on board the space ship with him. The Aliens were going to take over the bodies of the humans on Earth.

I remember it was scary. Any ideals on the name of the movie?

Sounds like Scientology....

Anyway, 'Invisible Invaders' is probably your movie....

This is a classic Italian 60's SF movie with an international cast. Barry Sullivan et al. land on strange planet after receiving a distress signal. One of the Earth ships lands first and the crew is taken over one by one by the spirits of the alien ship that crashed in ages past. "Alien" was based on this film and "IT! The Terror From Beyond Space." Being a nerd girl is good for something sometimes :0)

Other possibilities include:

"War Of The Planets" (1966), from the "Gamma One" series

"Cosmos: War Of The Planets" (1977), a remake of "Planet Of The Vampires"

'Planet of the Vampires' fits the first sentence of themaster's description, but not the second.

That sounds like "War Of The Planets" (1966). Energy beings ("Diaphanoids") take over human bodies on the Gamma One space station and they do have a base on Mars.

Probably not this one, but it scared the shit out of me when I stayed up late one night to watch it by myself when I was eight.

Whatever it is, I probably missed it because of Primary classes, which were held on the same afternoon that the monster movies were shown on local TV. Not the deepest insult by far, but a thousand injuries took out Fortunato, as I recall

Probably not this one, as it's a bit later. Good film, though http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lifeforce_%28film%29
