The first 30 seconds sounds like a weird ancient cult

It's so f'ing creepy. The whole goal is to keep kids so busy wasting time on temple work that they can't be normal teenagers.

Funny. The looks on those kids' faces was totally "oh, please, someone get me out of here," until he told them to take out their cell phones. Then there was something they could wake up for.

"As an apostle of the Lord I invoke a blessing upon you" - not bestow a blessing or place a blessing, or promise a blessing, but invoking a blessing the way practitioners of magick 'invoke' things?

It's little things like this^ that ring alarm bells in my brain. Invoke - call up or call upon. He calls upon a blessing upon them. Just doesn't sit right with me.
