Delaying school entry can often be a good option, particularly for kids on the younger side of the age cutoff. But delaying for a mission that won't happen for more than a decade? Insane.

And yeah, the girl got the short end of the stick.

Remember all mission calls are inspired, and there is a reason god sends you where he does. In my case he wanted me to get viral encephalitis.

I wonder how many Philippino TBM girls are going to hit on the 19 year old boy? He will be rubbing himself a couple of times a day... Hopefully he will be honest about the wanking and get reprimended... which could help him see that the TSCC is holding him back from a lot of good sex.
Or he could lie about it like most TBMs and grow into a large hypocritical piece of crap, which is what most of the TSCC is made of.

So did the boys wait until age 19, to go when with their sister?

They're the same age.

Yes, but males go at 18 and females at 19, so either they waited a year for her or she got special dispensation to go earlier.

From the story:
"Their parents, Colette and J.J. Laub, said they waited an extra year to put the triplets in kindergarten to aid in their eventual LDS mission preparation. They wanted to avoid having their sons wait a year after high school before serving missions, Morgan Laub said."

No way they could have predicted that, in fact, they delayed their boys mission calls by a year, but allowed their daughter to go immediately.

I'm sure there will be fast & testimony meetings where they can rehash the matter and ghawd will get all the glory.

If you read the longer article, which is linked in the one posted here, it says they intentionally delayed the triplets a year so the boys would not have to wait a year after high school to go on a mission. But then they changed the rules, so the boys were actually eligible a year ago. Then, the daughter decided that she, too, wanted to go on a mission. So they all put in their papers and all got mission calls. Sister will be leaving after her brothers and will be back in time to see them come home. Mom and dad are taking extra work so they can pay $1200 a month for all three to go on missions.

New Zealand might be nice, but if it’s as hot as I hear and has all of those creatures, yes, Pittsburgh too.
It depends on what part of Pittsburgh. I wonder on her off days if she’d be able to go to Steeler and Penguin games and Pirates , if they’re playing the Cubs or Phillies.
I never served a mission , so I don’t know the rules.

This one is so sad! Both boys sent to Africa.The one one the left was trying to hold back his tears and his voice was quivering on reading the rest.
The first boy, they were all clapping, until done asked him to “spell it”, when he went GHANA , they all said Oh Ghana!, then their enthusiasm changed.

Who hasn't heard of Ghana or Zambia? No Geography lessons in Utah schools?
