Saving all humans living and dead requires more than "punctuated equilibrium" for there to be an Adam and Eve. Even with a less gradual evolving of Adam and Eve like punctuated equilibrium evolution requires a whole bunch of almost humans gradually becoming more and more human in their hominid lives. No way to nail down a holy couple.

Even with a god it is too material and gradual a way to start if you want to do "the work" for all dead human beings. They are all dead, let God sort them out seems to be the response I get from people who want to believe in Human Evolution and Mormonism.

Death and God sorting is always a bad answer in my opinion.

Mormonism requires an acknowledgement that Adam and Eve were the very first Homo Sapiens on this planet; our so-called 'First Parents'.

All acquired evidence to dat shows this not to be the case.



The truly maddening thing is that the current leadership will propagate the lie that the Church has never said anything regarding organic evolution.


That is a total lie. Not only have they said things regarding it in printed matter, the whole temple scenario is based around dismissing organic evolution in favour of their fairy tales.

Evolution and scriptural fundamentalism are incompatible.

Except they don't. They manifestoed their polygamy away into scripture but didn't stop doing it.

They don't follow their Word of Wisdom.

They claim The KJV Bible wasn't translated correctly, use it and not The JST Bible.

They cherry pick from their own created scriptures and claim The Book of Mormon is their most holy book but it is inconsistent with their other scriptures.

Wellllll let me say this. I have been doing considerable study of translations ancient Sumerian cuneiform tablets and I have come to the conclusion that they, at their very worst, are more believable than the "Hebrew Bible" AKA Old Testament.
However, let us each believe as we choose.
