Best guess is only about 30k or so attend in the UK. At least 100k of their claimed 180k plus are in the "address unknown file". They haven't been to church in years and no longer live at the address where they were baptised.

Next time someone tells you that a "religion" can't form unless it's based on real people, point them to this post. :)

Having worked at Lucasfilm for 10 years, I can assure you that Yoda, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, etc. are not and never have been "historical" real people. George made them all up.

Joseph Campbell has done more for mankind than Joseph Smith ever dreamt of.

Goes to show how the power of myth can be a force for good, unlike a self-agrandizing Joseph's myth.
