Here is an interesting blog about the media sensation of calling it a lost city. It might come in handy if you encounter Mormons who try to claim "evidence". Some apologists might try to say that because this lost city was only recently found, Book of Mormon evidence could be somewhere in the jungles of Mesoamerica but just not discovered yet. The fact that the early church leaders, including Joseph Smith, taught that the BofM happened in North America is conveniently lost among modern-day members. I'm sure some of the better researchers/writers here have tons of quotes on this subject.
