First I want to thank you for all the kind words and wishes. I had some health issues hit at the same time as some family issues and I needed to retire. Yes, I will be around from time to time after a long long long quiet vacation. I am going to cook for my Hubby, clean my house, groom the dogs (and dress them up in their closet full of outfits) and dig out my yard. OK, and dig through the boxes never unpacked since we moved here over 14 years ago. Time to get back to things like my quilting, ribbon work and making jam too. Hell, I have a backyard full of delicious wild blackberries. When I do pop in I will be using the REPORT button like everyone else. I will however be around to help Eric train so behave yourselves! I am also going to have time to dust off the poor critters and make some new pics. I am already thinking of how to make a bear sized flogger to do a SD pic... :) He has depended on me for so many years to beat him. FYI I am keeping my email addy. So I hope you all help the new team as they build, if you have not yet, now is the time to READ ALL THE GUIDLINES AND STICKIES. They are there for reasons. And use that REPORT button folks! Remember there is plenty of room for you to explain why you think something is over the top and you can put your email addy there if you would like to discuss it. This really is a HUGE help. Remember, running the board is just a PORTION of running the site. IT IS A LOT OF WORK! Take care of newbies and remember, this community is for helping people. Everyone needs to do their part :)

Forgot to add.... Everyone have a cookie!

" I am already thinking of how to make a bear sized flogger to do a SD pic... :) He has depended on me for so many years to beat him."

What does this mean? I was a Mormon for a lot of my years. I wasn't versed in the ways of bear flogging. It sounds sexual. Is it?

Hey Girl!

Seems like the board has definitely lost some verve since you're not here...and at times it's palpable to me!

Somehow we all knew and felt you were watching over us in some capacity which gave us all the confidence to share as to what we would post.

Am wishing you again all the best that life has to offer and time spent with those who mean the most to you!

Or so it seems to me...

Hello Susan!

Your sig is a sight for sore eyes.

Thanks for checking in.

And I must say that I consider it an honor to have disclosed my dirty deeds and dorky doggerell for all these years under your judicious eye.

And thanks for not spanking too hard.

See ya round. :o)

Hello yourself. :)

I am all for hobbies. I need to cultivate a few myself. Sorry to hear about your health and family issues. I hope that fate smiles upon you once again. Don't be a stranger here!

BTW, be careful about those blackberries. The last time I went blackberry picking, I got a scratch on my thigh from a thorn and ended up with a very nasty staph infection on my skin. Cover up and wear gardening gloves when you go a' picking.

Thanks for doing this work for so long, and so long but maybe not so long if you can check RfM as a poster now.

Thanks again.

Hi, young lady. "Putting up 'gel,'" eh? All my PNW in-laws would call it "gel." But who cares? Ain't nothin'--no, NOTHIN'--better than blackberry gel made at home.

Wishing you luck at all those chores. I always just say I'm going to do all that stuff, and then generally don't.

Have fun at it.

Susan,

I've been around since 1998, or thereabouts (if I'm remembering correctly).

You've guided, scolded, facilitated, managed, overseen, helped, empathized us as an RFM community over the last many years.

Thank you so very much for everything you've done for us here. I can never express how much your efforts have meant to me, or done for me.

You're the best!

Hugs.

Hi Susan!

Glad to see your little update. You definitely deserve a long, long vacation!

Looking forward to seeing new pics of all the critters (both living and stuffed) in their new outfits. Re: "I am also going to have time to dust off the poor critters and make some new pics. I am already thinking of how to make a bear sized flogger to do a SD pic... :) He has depended on me for so many years to beat him." Is this what you had in mind? ;)

Hey, Sus! Good to hear from you, and I hope those health issues clear up.

Do your pups like eating the blackberries as much as ours do?

I'm so sad for us but so happy for you.

You are a force of nature, Susan, and we were lucky to have you for as long as we did.

I love Schlock's list but will add...and thanks for cleaning up the piddle. I haven't seen you say that for years, but it was memorable from back in the day.

Feel better, have fun, and drop by for a board visit when it suits you.

You stuck on this board for years to help out people, without making a dollar; how many of us would do that?
There are so few people around like you, I know I could never be one of them.

I wish you a happy retirement with joy And health.
