Spring Break! Whoo-Hoo! I need to go out and pull some weeds, then maybe work on some homework and do some housework. Then the joy and beauty of appling a warm epsom compress to Henry's butt after I get him a cone of shame.
I am enjoying a day off from work especially after the day I had yesterday. I am going to be doing some work on my family history today and try and reload all of my sims games after my computer went nuts the other day.
Spring break-up is in site. Looks like I will get 4-5 months off. Excellent. Going to road trip to somewhere and relax. It has been a long run on this project.
There are about 20 of us here, and right now I'm learning how there's no beer sold in Highland, Utah, no how, no way...
A couple of years ago I charged myself with a "professional error" because I gave a guy a cab ride down there on a Sunday, and he wanted beer, and we hadn't stopped in Salt Lake County.
Wouldn't have mattered what day of the week it was...
I'm going shortly to see Hitchcock's "Rear Window" in the theater. I've seen it a few times but never in the movie theater.
It's being presented by Fathom Events, and they regularly present movies like this. Sometime in April is Sound of Music, although I'm not sure I will see it.
Just found out that the report of my MacBook's death was greatly exaggerated. Damn thing just needed a new cord. I think this is cord six or seven, but it sure as shit is cheaper than a new computer.
Spent the morning relaxing with my boyfriend, took a nap, did some spring cleaning and took a lovely nighttime walk topped off with a delicious dinner!
Feel so much more complete than I did when I was in the church.
I wanted to add that I used to have the 'Sunday Night Blues' for many years while in the Morgdor (my nounage). I had already spent over six hours in meetings with brother this or sister that and I just wanted to get home and be with my honey and the kids. I always had my heart at home while sitting through droning talks and mind-fuck meetings. BTW, can we use the fuck word here on RFM?
I loved Sundays when one of the kids was sick because I could stay home with them. Watch football, listen to music, or cook something special that would WOW the missus. Now, it's so nice to have Sundays roll around. I get what Cyndi 'She's So Unusual' Lauper was trying to say so many years ago:
Reading a rather offensive letter from my sibling hahaha. It's great. I just posted it, but it's really long, so I don't know that anyone will read the whole thing.
