Had a busy week at work. Looking forwards to the weekend.

This evening I am not sure what I'll drink, yet. Perhaps and IPA or a glass of Scotch, or a Vodka.

What's your drink this evening?

A Moscow mule, also known as a Vodka buck, is a buck made with a
high quality vodka, a spicy ginger beer, and lime juice, garnished with
a slice or wedge of lime. It is usually served in a copper mug.
Main alcohol: Vodka
Ingredients: 4 oz Ginger beer, 1 1/2 oz Vodka, 1/6 oz Lime juice
Preparation: Combine vodka and ginger beer in a highball glass filled with ice.
Add lime juice. Stir gently and garnish with a lime slice.
Served: On the rocks; poured over ice.
Drinkware: Copper mug

Wife just bought some copper mugs. I have been on the road working all week so
it will be nice to have a few drinks and grill some salmon.

Water...due to the immobility of my broken foot I now have a couple of blood clots in that leg and I'm on blood thinners for at least 3 months...nothing alcoholic during that time :(

Eunice, my I suggest a nice non-alcoholic ginger beer?

Thanks for the suggestion...unfortunately, it's suggested that I avoid ginger while I'm on the two higher dose blood thinners.

The vitamix made me a lovely slushie from lemon juice, simple syrup and rock coconut rum. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Put quite a bit of money and effort into ETOH over the past 6 months. It doesn't work for me and the hype is just that, hype. A good cup of coffee is the bomb for a good morning drop and a life saver at work around 2 pm.

I decided on some Cardhu Gold Reserve single malt. Such a great Scotch!

Frei Bros cab. Made a super GOOD french onion soup with an extra special Gruyere Doux crouton.

A weak cool front pushing toward the Texas gulf coast reinvigorated my need to make something winter-y.

In my day (yes I know how that sounds) bud or bud light was the shiz... Old Milwaukee was the bottom of the barely...orPBR...

I love craft ales. But every once in a while I'll sneak some Bud or some PBR!

Coffee, tea, alcohol, and tobacco. Okay, well maybe not the tobacco.

A red wine if some kind. Haven't looked through the collection yet.

San pelligrino does a limonata sparkle lemonade with vodka, it's.... Kinda perfect

On the road at 11:00 AM heading for Vegas -- no drinking!
Arrived at 4:15, straight to work setting up for an event this weekend. Working, no drinking!
Check-in at hotel. Finally relax a bit; glass of a nice Reisling with my salmon for dinner. Ahh.

Today no booz for I had to go to a community play to support a sibling in law.

It's the start of gin and tonic season and I'm going all in this evening.
