And we now know why TSCC was willing to support some state wide gay rights protections a few weeks back.

They knew if they opposed both the gay rights bills and continued fight against gay marriage they would have NO credibility if they claimed they are not a homophobic church.

Of course they still have no credibility because despite saying OTHER people should be prohibited from discriminating against gays, they made sure THEY could still discriminate against gays.

Still, it was enough to invoke cognitive bias for those that want TSCC to be true or good.

Can someone please tell me what the supposed "troubled implications" of same sex marriage are?? They act like if they allow gays to marry it will be contagious and there will all of a sudden be more gays than straights and therefore much fewer babies being born. Why do they even care what 2 people who are in love decide to do in their lives? It certainly has no impact on them.

...you would have thought that they would have become realities or at least more than "implications" somewhere in all the places that same sex marriages are allowed.

The troubling implications are that the brethren would be WRONG yet again, about human rights.

Sadly, they will never admit they are wrong about anything, let alone human rights.

They could have waited a few months so the shallowness of the "support" they offered gay rights wasn't still in the news.
