I tuned in for a couple minutes a couple times, and seemed to be just regular ol' everyday guys reading a statement from the boss...

Very oddly though, and it's creepy to watch him.

Actually, all of the 12 and first presidency are sustained as "prophets, seers, and revelators." TSM is the president.

But no prophecies. Never ever.

And this is PRECISELY why I can no longer answer "Yes" to the temple question: Do you sustain the First Presidency and Council of Twelve Apostles as prophets, seers and revelators?"

When I finally admitted they were not, I stopped paying tithing and going to church. Ergo, no more temple. It's kind of like dominos falling....topple one and the rest are quick to go.

If you want to know what was said, this link will cover all of it.
Or if you want to read the talks, they will be in the Ensign in a couple of months.

The session speakers are listed on this link by name and can be listened to or viewed. (I'm not interested in either!)

Yes, several (actually, I think..all 15) of the "prophets seers and revelators" have spoken in GC this April in all of the sessions.

Note:click "View Now" for list of speakers.
It's also translated in at least 75 languages and broadcast on IPhone

They can translate it into 75 languages and still nobody gives a hoot what they think.

Middle initial, first intial thing? That is the most dumbass, trite, worn-out way to name a church official. Why not just Tom Perry or Tom Monson. I sounds pompous, puffy and arrogant.

There are probably thousands of Mormons with the same name, or similar name. It's a long tradition to use a middle initial, for instance, to identify the exact person! Nothing nefarious about it. Just plain common sense.

We have the same problem with the same name, or similar name in our family that is not LDS. They resorted to using the whole name, or a pet nick-name for identification purposes.

is there a general lack of Book of Mormon references? Most of the the GA's seemed to quote from the Bible. Some few fleeting scriptures were quoted from the BofM, but the source was not mentioned. Hmmmmmm.

...posing as a prophet and apostles. There was no revelation or prophesy in the General Conference talks such as a true prophet would have conveyed. JoD knew that Monson and the so-called apostles had spoken as usual; his point was that no REAL prophet spoke.
