So different from Mormon closed off private secret places. Places that use up so many resources for so few to use.

Anyone can go into a Shiva temple and receive blessing from the gods and ministry from the pujaris (priests of the rituals). You don't have to even prove belief, much less be a member of anything, to participate. No recommend required, no "worthiness". Anyone can go in and get a red dot on their forehead, and drop a few rupees (or not) on the aarti tray, and receive holy fire from the candles. Anyone is allowed to meditate in the assigned areas (not in the way of traffic). Anyone can commune with the shivling, and observe the abhishek, the laving of the shivling with milk and water.

The mormon temples are meaningless piles of building material.

They do nothing for the people.
