I just sent in my resignation through email

I am so excited. I sent my explanation letter with it. Anybody who wants to read it can send me their email.

Congratulations! I felt so much relief once I received their letter stating that I was no longer a member. I can't even begin to explain what a weight was lifted off of me.

It is bittersweet because I loved my ward dearly. I am thankful that I can leave the church on happy terms because I have such beautiful memories and had such beautiful friendships.

What was the final straw?

Be proud of yourself for making your opinion known. Spiritual extortion and human rights violations are wrong. Perpetuating lies/faithful church history is repulsive. Splitting up families in the name of god is deplorable.

I hope you feel a sense of peace, and relief for opting out of the mind meld.

Also, did you recently (6-10 weeks ago) visit a brewery in SLC? And if so, did the person driving park in a handicapped spot and then feign a limp? If so, hi! And call me! Otherwise, never mind, but congratulations again!
