Looks to be an outfit ran by some church members but not the church. The church uses it’s bishops and LDS Family Services.

The sad thing is that almost all of their counselors appear to be licensed professionals. There are people with real problems in this world, but this particular practices chooses to focus on pornography of all things.

What's with all this "self mastery" B.S. ? Sounds like an episode of Seinfeld.

Not like I have anything more to say except that there is something SO VERY WRONG WITH THIS.

My daughter had an old boyfriend (I actually forgot about him until just now). She was head over heels in love with him. He had a porn problem and was not allowed to go on his mission. He went to sons of helamen. It didn't work.

When he left the church, it stopped being a problem. I assume he was still looking at porn, but he wasn't consumed by it. He went to college and got a Master's Degree. The last time she saw him was not that long ago. She came really close to just basically running off with him. I completely forgot about him.

I now have a good friend whose grandson has problems with porn and other things, and they are thinking of putting him in a program, a live-in program. He isn't very old. It all just makes me very sick.

And they say they accept gays as they are as long as they don't sin or whatever. The program they have obviously says otherwise.

That doesn't even address how they make women feel like they are failures. There is so much pressure to be the perfect mother. Mothers Who Know. One of those talks I had the privilege of hearing as my daughter was here with conference on really loud. I kept saying to myself, "I thought I knew."

Mormons tell me all the time what a wonderful daughter I have and I always think, "I wonder who raised her???"
