Porn is in the eye of the beholder. Mormons see it everywhere. And they’re always searching, eager for something to shame and condemn.

It seems to me that it is the healthier mind that sees beauty in the nude female form, not shame.

Sometimes I wonder if shoulder-exposing tops were inspired by Mormon prudishness. If so, the public is in on the joke.

It is because they love Satan so much. He is the one who commanded them to cover themselves. God just made some clothes for their journey into the bleak and dreary wilderness.

Utah legislature guy is taking a page out of Tipper Gore's anti-smut tirade against Prince and crossover r&b:

https://www.ksl.com/article/46713400/utah-lawmaker-proposes-warning-label-for-pornography

first label, then have "community standards" law enforcement go after the offending label....

And now for the rest of the story;
First, the bill wants to force porn sellers to be required to state this crap;

" would state that pornography can impair a minor’s “brain development, emotional development, and the ability to maintain intimate relationships.”
Exposure to the material might also lead to “harmful and addictive sexual behavior, low self-esteem, and the improper objectification of and sexual violence towards others, among other numerous harms,”

All religious crap and speculation, not based in fact.

Now, a major porn site took all of 24 hours to make this national news. For Utahn's to view their site (which I didn't know existed-Thanks Legislature!) you have to click on this;

"Utah visitors to the site, Xhamster, are greeted with a “warning” label that says “porn may lead to decreased stress, increased happiness, and lower rates of teen pregnancy,”

Every time our Legislative Session meets, Utah make national news for something really stupid. And, they're only halfway through.

How about a law to mind your own business? Actually, we already have one. It’s called the Bill of Rights.

The church needs a scapegoat for it’s shrinking numbers. Porn is as good as anything. The FBI years ago did a big study on porn to see if it influenced men to become sexual predators and rapists. What they concluded was most men become bored with porn.

That pretty much describes me. I loved porn as a youngster. Nothing was better than finding a dirty magazine. I always found the porn movies silly. This was back in the 70’s and 80’s and we still make fun of that kind of porn today.

As I got older my interest in porn diminished. Especially when I had real relationships with real girls. I’m not into porn. Not my thing. I don’t need to see some naked pictures or videos of people having sex. I especially don’t need to see the freak show stuff. I’m not interested in that circus.

The bottom line is we are hardwired to like sex. It’s a part of life. You certainly need to be responsible regarding sex. In the past religion was used to control it because society didn’t want a bunch of bastard children to take care of. Basically society wanted a public declaration that you were responsible for any children resulting from your sexual activity. That’s what marriage was. It was a public declaration that you were responsible for your actions and not society. Society didn’t want to deal with a bunch of fatherless children and destitute women.

Yep. The tribe placing responsibility on the people and not the tribe. Some tribes in the past just threw babies off of cliffs.
