Good for Dr. Cody! There have been some public officials who have made the tough calls and been real heroes in this pandemic. I would count governors Cuomo (New York,) DeWine (Ohio,) Hogan (Maryland,) and Newsom (California,) as among those who have made the tough decisions and who have been ahead of the curve.

I listened to Governor Hogan a couple of days ago in his daily press conference. He has done a great job of leading, but I could hear just a tinge of frustration and despair when he initially started talking. He really is throwing everything he's got at it, but he knows it's still not enough.

Please add NM Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham to the list. She shut down "non-essential" gatherings, including schools. Grocery stores are open, some medical offices, some gas stations. It seems very Twilight Zone.
