There are so many.
1) From the beginning of Mormonism there was the Trinity. J.S. taught and believed in God the spirit. Later it became the 3 separate beings.
1a.) The invention of the priesthood. None of this was thought of back when it started.

2) The First Presidency. This was invented by B.Y. and was dissolved a couple of times. The riddance of the Patriarch to the Church, The riddance of the Patriarchal Priesthood, The invention of the First and Second Elder of the Church. Brigham Young expanded the office of "Apostles" to other various people, including his sons, even though they're not part of the Quorum of the Twelve

3) The council of Fifty. The loss of stake 70's, The loss of rites, principals in the Temple ceremonies.

Didn't JS have two counselors making up the first presidency?

NOPE! He had himself ordained 1st Elder, then Oliver Cowdrey was 2nd Elder. After Oliver got excommunicated, he made Hyrum 2nd Elder.

Rigdon and Gausse were made counsellors in 1832. The term 'First Presidency' appears to have been well-known by 1838

We are the LAST generation, since, what, the 1960s?

Eternal progression, missionary chats on LDS.org deny it was EVER doctrine. Think it's page 186 Miracle Of Forgiveness, "Man is a god in embryo."

Polygamy.

Temple changes (lots).

Not since the 1960s, since the 1830s.

Although if you go by the bizarre nonsense that mormonism is a restoration of Christ's original "church" then since the 30s, the OO30s, since according to the new testament the people who heard christ when he was alive were the last generation before he returned.

We will all soon be returning to Jackson County MO. to rebuild Zion. We were even taught this as a reason to hike at Girl's Camp.

The cut or style of garments has changed as well, as to when, where and under what circumstances you can remove them.
i've heard that when they were first introduced during JS's time, they were only and secretly worn during special temple rites and rituals that were being taught in the upper room of Joseph's Red Brick Store in Nauvoo.

The garments then covered much more of the body, from ankle to wrist.
Now, they are to be worn at all times, but have been cut down to knee level and short sleeves.

Hoping one day, it will go back to just being worn during special religious practices, or cut down to a tank top, and low-rise bikini brief or thong.

Just about every teaching of former prophets.

What they say is true today will be false tomorrow.

Final battle in Book of Mormon at Cumorah in New York. Now they won't even say where the Book of Mormon stories happened.

It is harder to name a doctrine/teaching/practice that has NOT changed....

Even as late as the 70s young people were counseled to start their family immediately after marriage and have as many children as they could.

Now...not so much.

“Those who attempt to pervert the ways of the Lord, and to prevent their offspring from coming into the world in obedience to this great command, are guilty of one of the most heinous crimes in the category. There is no promise of eternal salvation and exaltation for such as they, for by their acts they prove their unworthiness for exaltation and unfitness for a kingdom where the crowning glory is the continuation of the family union and eternal increase which have been promised to all those who obey the law of the Lord.

...it is only a matter of time before those who so strongly advocate and practice the pernicious doctrine of ‘birth control’ and the limiting of the number of children in the family, will have legislated themselves and their kind out of this mortal existence.” (Joseph Fielding Smith, Relief Society Magazine, v. 3, no. 7, July 1916.)

WOW!

1982..... my nazi SP said our duty was to "have our first child immediately, marriage is for procreation not recreation, and then as many kids as the wife's health would allow"

He was a first class d'bag SP whose reward for being such a blow hard was promotion to MP

The Hill Cumorah has seen more moves than a Uhaul truck. American aboriginies have been orphaned from their ancestory like foster kids. Pepsi went to rehab, and women won the right to pray subserviently. Bare shoulders were promoted to nudity. Garments were split in half while their ugliness remained whole. The very elect were elected to scrub like Cinderella in reverse.

Don,
I just blew my coffee all over the keyboard!

The Hill Cumorah is now located at the <most recent archeological dig> .

Strangely, polygamy can't be added to the list. It merely isn't practiced.

The word of wisdom is no longer a greeting and instead a commandment, which is a reverse of how it was originally worded.

All of them. The so-called 'church' has turned 180 degrees from virtually everything it originally stood for. In fact, I cannot think of anything that they haven't abandoned or changed.
