34 of the most beautiful churches from around the world

NONE!!!

...and therefore arbitrary. Yes, many fine edifices.

I'm just happy that there weren't any Christian Science churches included!

Very arbitrary indeed. Most of the 34 come from Germany, Australia and Brazil, leaving out a lot of countries. The one from my native Belgium is a boxy third-rate mongrel that happens to be conveniently located in central Brussels, leaving out dozens of gems in Ghent, Brugge and Antwerp that are far more popular with Asian tourists.

Ugh. Only the facades are shown. There is a basilica church where I live and it is the inside which make it a world class structure.

For all the problems with the Catholic Church, they have some beautiful cathedrals and amazing art work. Not one LDS temple can hold a candle to a remote Romanesque cathedral in any rural town in France.

My opinion is different. I find most of the 34 churches, while beautiful, are over-the-top.

To me, the most beautiful chapel I ever visited was the Heydon Trust Chapel in Bermuda. it was built in the early 1600s and is the smallest chapel in Bermuda. It is humble and the kind of place I believe Jesus would dwell. There is grace and beauty in humility.

The ugliest church in the world - the Draper temple. It looks like a Russian prison.

Considering this article was in Desperate News, I would have expected at least 17 of the 34 to be Morg Temples.
