There is something important that you forgot to do that is part of our (or my) religion: correct others, provide correct information.

In the picture you have shown, neutron is written in 2 way:
neutron
neutròn (The accent should go in the other direction).

1. The first case is the correct english spelling. Neutron is a subatomic particle. I think they meant neurons, which are brain cells and also form nerve cells.

2. The temperature gun does not use X-rays. It is not even an emitter. It detects infra-red radiation coming for warm bodies.
I assume it has a certain frequency response and based on the amount of infra-red, it calculates blackbody radiation temperature.

Let me play Trump’s advocate. Wearing a mask means you’re a turncoat. We need to open up the economy, get back to work, ditch the masks, and suck up the resulting deaths. After all, if Donald says it, it must be true. Has he ever been wrong before?

You omitted the next paragraph in that essay, which I think makes an important statement.

"This is a bizarre way to talk about people who are guided by facts, science and reason. It’s not about making a political point or asserting moral superiority; it’s about saving lives and protecting one another — which should be a basic element of citizenship in any democracy."

That can't be true because tRUMPence don't wear them.

People wear them for the main reasons: (1) governor's/ communities/ "leader's" orders/ commands/ rules; (2) because they want to feel safer/ make others feel safer, more healthy/ in line/ conforming; (3) because they want/ need to get by, purchase something, use the restroom, eat, not be tortured/ looked at funny/ bullied/ ostracized, etc.

It helps to wear them - as much as it hurts - no matter how you look at them.

Apparently, this person has firsthand knowledge of radiated neutrons in the brain.
