Well, I had an Atkins shake for lunch. I may pick up a Diet 7-Up tonight.

No sweets other than that. I'm trying out a low-carb diet to lose 15 pounds within a reasonable time.

I've nowt to nip in the house, and I'm right off the wagon. Perhaps I should pop by the liquor store. By the way, I've had hemmies before. But I've moved on and no complaints.

Life is a crazy crapshoot of hilarity, craziness, and some minimal sort of morality/responsibility. I can't figure it out............kinda' like a taco salad. And don't ask the waitress what's in it.

Well, just back from my Dublin trip to be met by a tasty curry! Very nice welcome. ;o))

I had two days of heavy drinking and found a couple of Irish craft ales that were super. Franciscan Well Chieftain IPA is the best IPA I have EVER tasted!

This evening, I will have a small glass of Scotch to join in the RFM Friday night party!

I only have two types of Scotch, not Irish whisky. Yet! Though I do have a cunning plan! ;o))

I changed my mind. I have just invented a new cocktail.

50ml of Licor 43 and a liberal splash or two of pure lime juice, placed in a large wine glass.

Add Cream Soda to the top, stir, and then drink.

I am quite proud! if this momentous event! ;o))

A lot of white wine. Found out today that BF has to have surgery on his foot, so I'm feeling a little stressed and worried.

What type of procedure?

So he needs to have it screwed (literally) back together. It's going to be 2 month (minimum) recovery time and there's no guarantee he won't have a limp.

If he does have to walk with a cane, I'm buying him a cane with a hidden sword. :)

Of course, he doesn't tell people much, including me, so who knows?

LMAO...I could never be that cruel.

He just not the guy that talks about his feelings, emotional or physical, except in rare moments. It's both lovely and irritating. It's a rare gem when he tells me "something," though.

I think the sword cane is an awesome idea. I want one, too. But I'd be walking around all, "Hey! Look at this!" And then I'd call you for bail money.

Ice water with white specks in it. You know how sometimes the ice cubes go bad and the hard water separates out into those little white flakes that swirl around and sink to the bottom of the glass?

Weekend at a cabin in the Colorado mountains. Whiskey for me now, wine earlier for both of us.
