mormon headline with zero meaning/content. But they try!

(I didn't actually read the article, I just copied the headline, led, no doubt, by the spirit.)



So I guess all that going through the temple and mumbling along with all the others creates the Covenant...I get that part about female covenanting and thus becoming 'women of covenant', but it is a bit embarrassing that previous generations of mormons were never told this!

Why did ghawd wait to reveal it through an ad agency copywriter? At the very least, I hope he got a nice bonus for coming up with it.

And humans do vocalize a lot, with wives and mothers commenting and teaching, but women simply don't have/share/possess/use, etc., the priesthood. They can diddle the priesthood, but that's pretty much it, far as I know.

First one is boring, the second is a great scifi-horror concept!

"Women of the Covenant" has sort of a Handmaiden's Tale feel to it.
