The anti-porn group at this link from Utah uses only science and no religious affiliation to fight a "new drug."
http://fightthenewdrug.org/how-todays-fitness-industry-became-softcore-porn/#sthash.npDbfy4o.dpbs

Never you mind that actual drugs are killing people, not just their sex lives.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/06/17/how-to-stop-drug-overdose-deaths_n_7587320.html

I haven't researched much but I would bet money the co-founders of fightthenewdrug.org are LDS.
http://www.deseretnews.com/article/700197475/Fighting-pornography-Group-warns-about-dangers-of-new-drug.html

I found the above organization from my Facebook page where a family member wanted me to like some article from it.

But seriously, booty shorts on the women in workout videos? Isn't the primary audience there women working out?

Heavens to Betty the Mormon SAHM, what if the children were to watch my workout video???? Said clutching her pearls.

Mormonism continues the Abrahamic tradition. It is to be ashamed of your body, ashamed of your sexuality and to consider the "natural man" as base and evil. So many people have bought into this BS. Sad.

About this...the web site repeats like a drum their reasoning and justification for fighting porn is because "science" has informed them about how bad porn is.

Is this true? I looked through their references and I've researched the subject and there is no definite link between relationship problems, brain development, or brain rewiring with regards to porn. There is anecdotal evidence and one could make similar arguments for food.

How about fight the new drug - bad food! ???

Mmmmmmm... adolescent outhouse memories. Mom never tore out the lingerie pages like my aunts all did.

Kids nowdays can't imagine the rapture of bullet bras and granny drawers.

Besides, they can't wipe their butts with their ipads ya know.

When "porn" is your enemy, you see "porn" everywhere.
Even where it isn't.

How long until these people make the call for burkas on all women?

Perhaps they should be reminded that President Hillary will not be wearing one.

There has always been someone to scream about perceived dangers. Some cave/women/men warned everyone of the dangers of dinosaurs (if you are mormon and believe man lived with dinosaurs), saber-tooth tigers, or bears.

Later the danger became the neighboring tribe, or as you move through history, the Huns, the Romans.....and when they came to North America it was the Indians, and now it's blacks, Hispanics, and Muslims.

Some people try to be somewhat "politically correct" and not make it about someone's color or religion, but they still have a million years of biology bred into them that they need to find some "enemy" to fight.

Current favorites for those who need an enemy are porn, gays, and perceived attacks on Christianity.

the news. My boyfriend watches Fox news quite often. Who ever thought I'd be the democrat and he'd be the republican all those years ago when I met him. Anyway, MOST of the women wear sleeveless dresses. On the Today, show, they wear sleeveless dresses all year round. I noticed Heidi Hatch on KUTV wore an un-garment worthy dress yesterday (cap sleeves, but garments would show).

Pretty sad if mormons can't watch Fox News.

KUTV doesn't really have a Mormoncentric outline does it? At least I didn't think it did. Thought that was KSL's job

Debbie Worthen, Ron Bird, Jill Margetts, Amy Nay, Lindsay Storrs, Dan Rascon, Sterling Paulson, etc., etc. All big Mo's.
About the only "normal" person worth watching is Mary Nickles. Every time there is a cooking segment where the recipe calls for wine, beer, Bourbon, etc. Ron Bird makes a huge point to ask if they can substitute something else, "for the local culture". My brother, from Texas, was here watching one morning when Bird did that, and asked me "is this clown for real". I had to tell him, "unfortunately yes".

I thought we were supposedly made in the image and likeness of God. So what's so bad about the natural man?

And if certain men were labelled as unnatural, shouldn't they be held up as friends of God.

That's why "science" invented the remote control, mouse... to change the channel, or screen if their delicate, holy eyes are offended.

Heavenly father created their eyelids and legs (according to them) which also are useful to eliminate viewing satanic booty shorts, or sleeveless work-out tops... They also scream about evil yoga pants. So... what do women wear to exercise in order to protect their fragile minds?

Of course it's Mormon. Bunch of busybodies. What I haven't seen them address is the fact that Utah is #1 in porn subscriptions, & that Utah County leads the state. Seems like they could spend all their efforts concentrated on stopping Mormons from viewing porn, before they take on the rest of the world. Hypocrites.

Uh, they are. If you click the DesNews link part of a Red Ribbon Week in Riverton, Utah they visited schools to talk about their "new drug."

This kind of stuff should have make headlines in being as stupid as the BYUIdaho's "Wounded on the Battlefield" vid.

These people are promoting their "values" in public schools.

When some jackass BYU-RM writes a letter to the editor of the Daily Universe wailing about booty shorts being a tool of Stan to tempt his poor, fragile sexual suppression mindset is when it will be judged by the sheeple to be 'porn'.

If this hasn't happened yet, it will...

I'm surprised they don't make swim wear for the women, and insist it's the ONLY swimwear allowed. Something like this would work:

To anyone who doesn't like someone else's hair, tattoos, clothing, dance moves, etcetera--AVERT YOUR EYES.

Meant to post to main thread.

I know right?

Religious people should avert their eyes for anything that doesn't give glory to their lord.

Knowing that God and Jesus have physical bodies and they are not the same body the phrase, "Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of The Lord" take on a whole new meaning.

Avert your eyes is right if you don't want to experience spontaneous rapture and go Celestial in the twinkle of God's one eye!
