and further cutbacks at Church offices in Solihull.

I expect members will now order online. I was informed a guy in Nottingham is the agent handling things now.

It won`t be long now before the big doors at the Temple will be thrown open for the Saviour. Incidentally, will He becoming through the big doors in all the temples?

Whether he`s paid or not they`re ecomomising out of necessity.

One member said... "This sort of thing was to be expected in the current economic climate." But why? TSCC isn`t in manufacturing; doesn`t have to buy raw materials; doesn`t sell a product; gets it`s money and labour for free and gets inside information from God.

The truth is, of course, it never saw it coming and fell for the same banking and investment scams as the, so-called, uninspired world.

The UK distribution centre, years ago, was run from the back of an ordinary shop in Mitchem, in Surrey, I recall.

Why blame the current economic climate? The U's been through worse recessions than this before (remember the 80's?).

It's esy to lay the blame on the recession, when in fact its the members who are leaving in droves.

That's a good point. Though in the recession in the 1980s, TSCC closed down its UK Welfare operation overnight.

On line ordering. So the internet IS useful to the morg when they want it to be. I bet they tell the members not to be tempted to look at anything else. Perhaps more members will search while they are on line for other books about the church which they won't be able to get from the morgs site. We can only hope.
I think I might start walking around with a placard stating "the end is nigh".
