Or are they driven everywhere?

Just wondering what the implications would be if one of them were arrested for DUI.

I read here once that Packer drove a big ass SUV as an apostle. My guess is Bednar drives and once he becomes to old to he will expense a driver.

Of The Spirit?

I could see anything like that handled just like Packer's homosexual hate speak was reworked by the church editing dept.

In 1968, when I was going on my mission and we had to spend a week at the old MTC downtown SLC, we went to the Hotel Utah to have our meals.(Anyone remember their rolls?)

Sometimes we walked outside and a couple of times we took a short cut in the parking garage where the GA's parked.

Being the car geek that I am, I noticed one time that in the parking slot for David O. Mckay was a kind of beat up VW Beetle. No one seemed to know if it belonged to him or not.

He was already a really old man and probably wasn't driving then, and I always thought maybe a secretary or a family member drove it.

I remember the car next to the Beetle was a big ass Chrysler Imperial and I think the spot belonged to Hugh B Brown but don't remember.

Then, after I was home and married, (1973 I think) we had moved into an apartment in Holladay and in the ward lived both Legrand Richards and Bernard P. Brockbank.

We were invited one night to a wedding reception, I think, and saw Legrand driving up the street is his big Buick Electra. And he was old then, too.

I was told he liked Cadillacs and my grandfather had one of his old ones. He liked expensive things. I know that but as to big, I think most cars were big back in the day.
