Moose,

I once received very wise advice on preparing mentally to meet with church leaders:

"Remember, they are just volunteers, just like you were once a volunteer."

Lots of great advice on the thread. No matter how old you are, and I can speak from experience, TSCC conditioning can creep up behind you and make you feel like a kid in the principals office. He's just a volunteer and frankly 'winging it' as best as he can in his calling. Good luck!
